This is an ink wash of Odin, with his two ravens. This was done with ink wash and a few touches of gesso here and there. I've been told he resembles Gandalf a little, but I guess that dosen't bother me too much.
That's so creepy- not the pic neccesarily, as I am rather immune to creepy pics these days- but because I *just* finished American Gods by Neil Gaiman last night and Odin plays a central role. Aheeee!
As for the pic, it's lovely- I really love his hair. And yeah, I did think he was Gandalf at first, but that's because he crops up alot nowadays. The background gives the piece a nice atmosphere. w00t!
Thanks for the Woot. I've read American Gods too. Very good book, although it's paced really weird. About anything I've read by Neil Gaiman has been good.

I took a peak through your gallery - interesting stuff. The salamander was especially heady, liked the compostion, quite unusual.
Whoa! You have a knack for the weird. (Please take that as a compliment). Keep letting those ideas out. Keep experimenting. I got a kick out of flower anatomy, as well as some of the ideas in your journal - let em flow.
Wow, this is amazing! Odin is perfect and so are Hugin and Munin. My only complaint is that it's a bit too large... My slow connection took ages to load it and one would get a better sense of the picture if it was smaller. But that's just nitpicking... hehe. It would surely make an excellent poster!

Took a peak in your gallery. You you have a strong sense of color, everything is very moody. Which I like. Moody is good.
